PARENT DRIVE TO/FROM CAMP DISCOUNT - Up To $850 Per Camper
If you drive your child to/from camp, you will receive a discount of $850 per camper attending for 6, 7, and 8 weeks ($600 for 4 and 5 week campers). Drop-off is between 8:45 am and 9:00 am ; pickup is between 3:45 pm and 4:00 pm.
CENTRAL EXPRESS BUS STOP DISCOUNT - Up To $500 Per Camper
Chances are, there’s a Pick-up/Drop-off location near you!
If you drive your child to/from a Central Express stop, you will receive a discount of $500 per camper attending for 6, 7, and 8 weeks ($350 for 4 and 5 week campers). More than 90% of our camp families opt for our Central Pick-Up option.
EXPRESS CENTRAL STOPS
Black Bear Lake offers EXPRESS CENTRAL STOPS. Express buses head directly to Camp after their pick-up and when leaving camp in the afternoon go directly to the EXPRESS CENTRAL STOP. After boarding at an Express Central Stop the bus goes directly to Camp without making any other stops along the way. If you want your child to have the shortest run possible, please opt for one of our EXPRESS CENTRAL STOPS. EXPRESS CENTRAL Bus Runs are between 15-25 minutes. We have EXPRESS CENTRAL STOPS in all of the areas we service.
NEIGHBORHOOD CENTRAL STOP RUNS
Neighborhood Central Stops have 2 or 3 central stops along the run. All stops are in the same general area and are on the way to camp. We added these Neighborhood Central Stops to developments and communities where we have a large concentration of campers. These bus runs are only a few minutes longer than our EXPRESS CENTRAL STOPS. These runs are between 20-40 minutes.
Each Black Bear Lake bus is designed to provide maximum comfort and safety. All buses are air-conditioned and equipped with seat belts, cell phones and tracking devices. Each bus is driven by a New Jersey CDL-certified driver and is supervised by a bus counselor to ensure the safety and welfare of our campers.

EXTENDED HOURS DISCOUNT - Up To $425 Per Camper

For those parents who need a longer day for their children, they may get dropped off anytime after 7:00 am and enjoy crafts, games, playground, gaga, ping pong, and breakfast of bagels and fresh fruit. In addition, children may stay after camp until 6:30 pm with our wonderful staff for more fun including a free swim, gaga, playground, volleyball, games, movies and more!
If you have your child in Extended Hours, you will receive a discount of $425 per camper attending for 6, 7, and 8 weeks ($300 for 4 and 5 week campers).
EARLY AND/OR LATE BUS OPTION DISCOUNT - Up To $350 Per Camper

For parents not able to drive to/from camp for Extended Hours - we provide an Early and/or Late Bus. In the morning you will be able to meet the Early Buses at a convenient Central Express stop between 7:00 am and 7:30 am. In the afternoon, the Late Buses will leave camp at 5:15 pm with Central Express stops between 5:45 pm and 6:30 pm. We have Early and Late Bus Stops in both Monmouth and Mercer County and have considerable flexibility when setting up the run to meet almost any pickup/dropoff requirement. Please call camp to discuss your specific needs.
If your child uses the Early OR Late Bus (one-way) and Central Express Bus Stop (the other way), you will receive a discount of $350 per camper attending for 6, 7, and 8 weeks ($245 for 4 and 5 week campers).
If your child uses the Early AND Late Bus stop, you will receive a discount of $200 per camper attending for 6, 7, and 8 weeks ($140 for 4 and 5 week campers).
THE MOST RIGOROUS SAFETY STANDARDS USED
BBL only uses NJ LICENSED & REGULATED School Buses
- All Vehicles MEET STATE STANDARDS and regulations as a child transport vehicle.
- All Vehicles are SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR SAFETY- with heavy duty structure, bright color, and EMERGENCY EXITS.
- All vehicles have FLASHING WARNING LIGHTS to alert others to stop when your child gets on/off the bus.
BBL only uses PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS
- All Drivers possess A NJ SCHOOL BUS CDL LICENSE and are scrutinized for their driving safety record by the State of NJ.
- These drivers are mature professionals who DRIVE CHILDREN TO SCHOOL & CAMP ALL YEAR and do not work at camp all day long.
- These drivers have EXPERIENCE DRIVING WITH ACTIVE CHILDREN on local roads, in the rain, and with high noise levels.
Transportation Alert
Some area camps are using the outdated converted white passenger vans to transport campers. These vehicles do not have any of the safety features of a school bus and are often driven by inexperienced drivers who, generally, do not have state-issued school bus driver licenses (CDL). Passenger vans are much less expensive to operate but we feel it puts children at risk.
