Octo-BEAR fest Activities

During the summer months, you will find campers at Black Bear Lake Day Camp having fun in the sun, trying their hand at new water sports, and participating in outdoor adventure activities. And while fall brings cooler temperatures and shorter days, Octo-BEAR fest is still packed full of thrills. We’ve swapped out many of our summer activities with seasonal fall fun, so this event is sure to put you and your family in the mood for autumn.

Here are all the activities you can expect to find at the event.

Pumpkin Decorating: Nothing says fall like finding the perfect pumpkin and decorating it! Kids and adults alike will love getting creative decorating their own pumpkin and showing it off to friends and family. It will look just as good on your front porch for Halloween!

Inflatable Fun: Let your kids burn off their extra energy on inflatables. They will have a blast bouncing and having fun with new and returning friends.

Crafts: Campers can try their hand at fun fall crafts to put them in the seasonal spirit. Make sure to bring your crafts home and add them to your fall decor, they will always be a reminder of this exciting day for years to come.

Mountain Tubing: Who says you need snow to tube? Mountain tubing is sure to get your heart racing. Hold on tight and take in the scenic fall foliage as you race down the mountain. Kids and adventure-seeking parents will love trying one of Black Bear Lake Day Camp’s most popular attractions.

GAGA Tournament : A little healthy competition always keeps things entertaining. Returning campers will love showing off their GAGA ball skills to their parents, while new campers can get a taste for the game that we at Black Bear Lake Day Camp love. Our GAGA ball tournaments are always lively and a great way to meet new campers. Make sure you don’t miss stopping by trying your hand at this fast-paced ball game!

Don’t worry about packing food, lunch will be served! You can get a taste of the delicious food that our campers get to enjoy during summer sessions for yourself.

Private Tours

Private tours will be available all day for new and returning families. This is a great opportunity for new campers and families to see what Black Bear Lake Day Camp is all about. We completely understand the importance of scoping out a camp before deciding if it’s the right place for your child to spend their summer, and these private tours can help you do just that. Our friendly and experienced staff is happy to show you around and answer any and all questions you may have. About Black Bear Lake Day Camp

Black Bear Lake Day Camp is now enrolling campers for the 2022 summer season. Our day camp is the perfect place to send your child this summer, as all activities are tailored to meet the physical and developmental needs of each specific age group. We offer exciting summer camp programs for ages 3-15 that are led by our carefully screened camp staff and offered in four to eight-week sessions during the summer months.
