2019 Trips & Special Events - Black Bear Lake Day Camp

2019 Trips & Special Events

Trips and Special Events are an extension of our already dynamic camp program. Everyday is a different Special Event at camp. Many of these events have become loved traditions and campers look forward to them all year long. Trips are planned for Senior Camp, Upper Camp, LITs and CITs. Our trips are all age appropriate and change as the campers get older. This keeps the trips fresh each year and gives campers something to look forward to as they grow up in camp.

Trips

Campers entering 5th grade and older are exposed to trips off camp to add another element to the Black Bear Lake Program. These popular trips are led by adult and First/Aid CPR trip staff. As always, each camper is supplied with lunch while on a trip.

Teen Travel

Want even more trips??? For campers entering 7th to 10th grades, our Upper Campers, LITs and CITs, we offer an extra fee teen travel program.

This travel program is offered to those campers whose interests expand well beyond the everyday camp experience. While still participating in weekly special events and on-site activities, Teen Travel campers receive two trips per week to places such as Medieval Times, Dave & Busters, Fireball Mountain and many more.

Also, there are late night trips to venues further from camp such as the Philadelphia Zoo and a Delaware River Tubing Adventure.

These trips require enrollment at camp for at least 4 weeks by April 1st.

If you are interested in registering for the Teen Travel Program please call or email Fun@blackbearlake.com camp to speak with us.

Special Events

At Black Bear Lake, daily Special Events bring even more excitement to our already action-packed summer program. From College Days to Color War, and from Filthy Friday to Anything Can Happen Thursday, all of our ‘special’ programs keep campers excited about coming to camp all summer long.
