Trips & Special Events - Black Bear Lake Day Camp

Trips & Special Events

Trips and Special Events are an extension of our already dynamic camp program. Everyday is a different Special Event at camp. Many of these events have become loved traditions and campers look forward to them all year long. Trips are planned for Senior Camp, Upper Camp, and STEP. Our trips are all age appropriate and change as the campers get older. This keeps the trips fresh each year and gives campers something to look forward to as they grow up in camp.

Campers entering 5th grade and older are exposed to trips off camp to add another element to the Black Bear Lake Program. These popular trips are led by adult and First/Aid CPR trip staff. As always, each camper is supplied with lunch while on a trip.

Trips for Grades 5 – 8

Currently, the NJ DOH Guidelines do not permit field trips. In the event trips are approved, we will CONSIDER offering outdoor day trips only to our oldest campers.
