Your camp tuition total varies based on weeks attending, transportation selections, and discounts eligible. Our calculator does the math for you!
Summer Enrollment
- Camp Dates: June 28, 2027, to August 20, 2027. (Camp is closed on Monday, July 5th)
- Our tuition may also be eligible for Child Care Reimbursement Programs through your employer or a tax deductionon your tax return.
- Please note that we accept registration on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we meet our enrollment limits for a group, the group will be closed out. Reserve your spot as early as possible to ensure placement for the Summer of 2027
Tuition at Black Bear Lake Day camp Includes:
- Hub OR Parent Drive to and from camp (Additional charge for Door To Door Transportation and/or Before and/or After Care)
- Hot & Cold lunch prepared daily in camp- served in our air-conditioned dining hall
- Camp T-Shirt & Backpack
- All equipment, supplies, and materials for electives/activities
- A variety of snacks available throughout the day
- Trip(s) for Upper Camp (7th/8th grade) and S.T.E.P. (9th/10th grade)
Payment Options & Details
Register by 8/31/26 to lock in our Early Bird Rates (pay absolutely nothing until
10/31/26).
Invoices will be emailed in October, and you’ll be able to choose the option that
works best for your family.
Pay in Full by October 31st
- Receive an additional tuition discount when paying by cash, check, or ACH
- More than 75% of our families choose this option
OR
Easy Payment Plan
- $500 per camper by October 31
- $1,000 per camper by February 1
- Remaining balance due April 1
Additional Details
- Camper enrollment is based on the grade they are entering in September 2027
- Jr. Cubs (3 Years Old by 6/28/27) & Cubs (Entering Pre-K and Kindergarten). All Cubs must be fully potty trained by 6/28/27
- 3 and 4 days-per-week options are available for Jr. Cubs & Cubs only. 4-day schedule skips Wednesday. 3-day schedule skips Tuesday/Thursday
Flexible Weeks
- Camper weeks do not need to be consecutive.
- You do not have to know your schedule for next summer. Choose any weeks now and adjust later.
- Additional weeks can be added at any time.

Campers in 6th & 7th Year
Campers who are returning for their 6th and/or 7th summer in the upcoming camp season, will receive a Loyalty Discount of 7% off your net tuition and will be applied to your invoice. (Loyalty Discount only applies if campers are registered by October 31st for the future camp season)
Campers in 8th Year
Campers who are returning for their 8th and above summer in the upcoming camp season, will receive a Loyalty Discount of 10% off your net tuition and will be applied to your invoice. (Loyalty Discount only applies if campers are registered by October 31st for the future camp season)
Receive 10% off your tuition for active Fire Fighters, Police, EMS/EMT, and Military.
Campers in 6th & 7th Year
Campers who are returning for their 6th and/or 7th summer in the upcoming camp season, will receive a Loyalty Discount of 7% off your net tuition and will be applied to your invoice. (Loyalty Discount only applies if campers are registered by October 31st for the future camp season)
Campers in 8th Year
Campers who are returning for their 8th and above summer in the upcoming camp season, will receive a Loyalty Discount of 10% off your net tuition and will be applied to your invoice. (Loyalty Discount only applies if campers are registered by October 31st for the future camp season)

Black Bear Lake offers before & after care for an additional charge. Drop off can be between 7am and 8:45am. Pick up can be between 4:15pm and 6:00pm.

Refund Policy
We understand that family schedules, vacation plans, work commitments, and unexpected health issues can change. That’s why we offer one of the most flexible refund policies in camping.
Before June 1
From the date of registration through June 1, you may cancel your enrollment for any reason and receive a 100% refund.
There are:
- No cancellation fees
- No processing fees
- No penalties
Your entire deposit will be refunded.
After June 1
After June 1, refunds or credits will not be issued for canceling your camper’s enrollment.
Reducing Weeks After Camp Begins
If your camper misses an entire camp week (Monday through Friday), you may receive a refund provided that:
- The Camp Office is notified by 5:00 PM on the Friday before the week is cancelled.
- The week being canceled is a full week
- Tuition will be recalculated based on the revised number of weeks enrolled
Example:
If your camper was enrolled for eight weeks and you cancel one full week with proper notice, tuition will be recalculated using the seven-week tuition rate, and the difference will be refunded.
Missed Days
There are no refunds or credits for individual missed days due to:
- Illness
- Vacation
- Transportation issues
- Weather
- Any other reason
Missed days cannot be made up.
Suspension or Dismissal
No refunds or credits will be issued if a camper is suspended or dismissed from camp for violating the Camp Code of Conduct or for any reason deemed necessary by Black Bear Lake Day Camp.
