Monmouth County Day Camp

Do you and your family live in Monmouth County, NJ? Black Bear Lake Day Camp is the perfect place to send your child this summer for a fun and engaging day camp experience. Monmouth County was established in 1683 as part of a province of East Jersey. As a coastal county, the area is known for fishing and boating both on the seashore and in many of the tributaries and lakes that can be found in the towns. The western region of the county is also known for its rolling, green landscape and lush woods that are perfect for exploring.

Because of its unique geography, Monmouth County has consistently had one of the highest populations in the state of New Jersey. Today, it’s the state’s fifth-most populous county with just under 619,000 residents living in the many townships.

Monmouth County, NJ has a total area of around 665 square miles, including both land and water, and is divided into 59 cities and towns.

At Black Bear Lake Day Camp, it’s our mission to provide every camper a summer camp experience they aren’t soon to forget. We offer day camp programs for kids from Pre-K through grade 10, and there’s truly something for everyone to love about Black Bear LakeCamp.

Every camper has the opportunity to choose their own schedule to promote independence and explore new interests. There are over 70 electives that campers can choose from to build out their weekly schedule. Of course, along the way, they are also able to make life-long friendships that will last long after camp has ended.

Black Bear Lake Day Camp sits on 42-acres of picturesque woodlands and fields Monmouth County, NJ is known for, as well as a stunning 5-acre lake that is perfect for water sports and swimming. Along with the activities, campers are always given fantastic food prepared on-site and special trips planned especially for our older campers.
