New Experiences Every Week

At the start of each week, on Mondays, you and your child will select electives online that they will participate in the following week. There’s room for a lot of experimentation here as we offer over 70 electives! While your child can choose to change up their electives every single week and really run the gamut of our options, they can also stick with the same electives if that’s where their specific interests lie. If your son or daughter happens to be heavily sports-focused, they can choose to stick with athletic electives like basketball or gymnastics, for example.  

On the other hand, if your child is more interested in creative pursuits, they can choose all fine art electives like BBL camp show or creative crafts. Making these choices at the beginning of every camp week keeps your child engaged with their core interests as well as with their overall summer camp experience.

Electives Provide Incredible Individual Growth

The beautiful thing about giving our campers their choice of schedule for summer camp is that they have the opportunity to dive into activities they may not have been exposed to otherwise. Perhaps your very girly daughter finds out she loves fishing or your athletic son discovers his love for chess. At school, kids are often funneled through the typical school day without much choice regarding what they are interested in. At camp, we include all of the interest and none of the homework. When their schedule can be variable each and every week, we find kids arrive at camp with vigor and excitement as opposed to knowing that every day will essentially be more of the same. Choice allows our campers to have their own personalized version of summer fun.
